Our Verdict
Sounds like the 500 in Paypal Rewards can be cashed out to your bank as $5 (?) so that makes this basically like $5 off $10. A lot of people will load up their Starbucks balance $10 to meet the spend requirement.
There’s a separate offer we’ve posted about to get $5 off directly on a $10 Starbucks purchase via Paypal (here’s the direct Paypal link). I’m not sure if a $10 purchase can meet both offers, but theoretically a $15 purchase should get $5 off leaving $10 payment and trigger the 500 ($5) reward. I’m not sure if it’ll work in practice. Regardless if you have both offers it should be possible to do two separate $10 Starbucks loads or purchases and get one offer on each purchase. Update: Reader Tom reports being able to stack both offers on a single $10 purchase.
