New U.S. Mint Deal On June 13th ($70+ Profit & $105 In Card Spend)

There is profitable U.S. Mint coin deal coming up on Friday 6/13/25  12 noon (ET).

Coin costs $105 and there is a limit of one. with $4.95 shipping (or pay more for insured shipping). You should be able to lock in a profit of $70+.  We always recommend locking in a deal before these goes on sale with a reputable buyer to avoid any risk (keep in mind there always seems to be a bit of astroturfing in the comments for different purchasers so do your own research). Others prefer to take a risk and see what the coins sell for after they sell out. You can find what cards code as a cash advance/purchase in this dedicated post.

If you don’t want to sell the coin retail, just look for a large or reputable COIN DEALER like the one mentioned in the comments. They’re not really brokers or scalpers. These guys sell coins for a living (US Mint new issues are usually a small part of their business) and they have multiple customers who want these but they are only allowed to buy one coin. To skirt the US Mint household limit they usually employ their “friends and family” network but on the big deals they offer the deal to the public (until their required inventory is met). It’s not “reducing your risk”, but virtually eliminating it. Like the bank and CC bonuses, the dealers will pay you the stated amount if you complete the requirements (right coin, getting it to them on time by proper ship method/label, etc.) The coin dealers take all the risk (including you deciding to keep it and flip uourself after you already agreed to sell it to them). The hardest part is buying it from the Mint to begin with.

There is a risk the coin dealer could open the box you ship to them, and say it was empty or had a rock in it. Or a seller could actually ship a box with a rock.

Overpriced. I’d pay a bit over spot price for this.

This coin is currently pre-selling on eBay. I see SOLD listings averaging $225 with the lowest at $199. People are listing the coin for as high as $500.

Just an FYI in the case you want to sell these on your own.

Just curious if anyone knows if vanilla gift or other prepaid cards work as payment methods. Haven’t done this for a while. Thanks

When the U.S. Mint site slows to a crawl with all the people and bots trying to buy the coin, and maybe actually get to see the purchase button, you don’t want to be wondering if your payment method is actually going to work.

Also, IMO, you should use a real CC just in case you need to do a chargeback/dispute.

Does the US Mint charge immediately for purchase that don’t ship for months or only when they ship?

Looks like when shipped, so not until late July.

Only when they ship, so if you’re trying to meet spend there will be a delay. Not that this is a big spend anyway.

They usually ship a few days after after the MSR window for your new SUB card ends. That’s when the charge posts.

You can also stack a $20 referral as well. The silver coins dont ship until late july after buying on June 13, for me personally not worth the hassle of worrying about when a coin my arrive on my porch.

The guaranteed profit is only 30 per order, the Mint lowered the household limit to 1 coin per order from 3. Not sure I’ll bother. I miss the pre-covid deals…

Also, shipping will start only end of July. And I am not sure how robust ebay market will be with the 100K coins total. The collectors boards are pretty lukewarm on this deal, not that they are particularly active in general lately.

My best was the 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof that I had graded (ended up PR70) and then sold to a broker for $1700 (purchase price from the mint was like $90). That was a great deal. Some work to it though.

Guaranteed profit of 30? Where would I sell to get that profit? New to all this, thanks!

Agree. This is 3.33x the size of 2019 eagle mintage quantity. That one did well but I don’t think the upside is going to be there this time. There are only so many hard core coin nerds to support the market. And I still have my ‘19 PR70 to look at. Guessing this will settle around 200-250 tops.

I’m planning on buying one on Friday. Can someone walk me through the logistics? Where are the buyer’s club sites that will buy the coin from me at a higher price than I paid?

If you just search this site for “buyers club” you will find one that used to be posted about here. I assume there’s a reason  William Charles didn’t mention them by name. They did have a deal implode fairly recently. I will probably eBay them myself since they are pretty low value anyway. Sometimes paying for grading will help get a higher price but the grading isn’t free either. Andre

For the people who don’t understand how this works. You’re basically helping the scalpers get more of an item they believe collectors will pay more for which limits the chances of collectors getting them at retail from the mint.

You are of course technically correct, but scalper carries quite the negative connotation. Kinda ironic considering all the fake Direct Deposit and Manufactured Spending discussion around here. These “scalpers” are just coin dealers getting in on the deal. Working the system like we all do here to some degree or another.
