  • NFCU is offering 1,000 bonus points when you spend $100 or more with your Navy Federal Credit Card at their Member Mall from now through August 13st, 2017.

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid from July 31, 2017 at 12:01 am, Eastern Time (“ET”) through Aug. 13, 2017 at 11:59 pm, ET (“bonus period”).
  • Cardholders will receive a one-time bonus of 1,000 points (“bonus”) after spending an aggregate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more on qualifying purchases at one or more participating merchants during the bonus period.
  • cashRewards and Platinum cardholders will receive $10.00 instead of the 1,000 point bonus.
  • This bonus is in addition to the standard points earned through Member Mall.
  • The $100 minimum spending amount must be completed with one Navy Federal Credit Card account. Returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card purchases, and certain products are not eligible for the bonus eligibility calculation.
  • Please see the Member Mall site for details on product eligibility and/or any coupon code details or other usage restrictions. Please allow eight to ten weeks for the bonus to post to your account. Bonus rewards may be withheld for longer periods in the event of an investigation of potential account misuse.

Our Verdict

As always make sure you compare the rates you’re receiving through the member mall with the best rates with other portals (I like to use cash back monitor for this). This is basically an extra 10x points per $1 spent so should be a good deal for most people. There are also more shopping portal bonuses currently available:

Just a heads up from a NFCU member – they are notorious for not posting bonuses; you have to call in, message, wait on responses, etc. its a real pain
