The Offer
Paypal Extras Mastercard points are worth .083 cents per points (5/6 of a penny) when redeemed for cash or gift cards. Occasionally, they’ll offer select gift card on sale for 1 cent per point. Very occasionally, they’ll have the deal that’s going on now:
- Redeem points for any gift card available at 1 cent per point
Available options include: Amazon, Target, gas, many grocery stores, restaurants, and many more
The Fine Print
- Expiration unknown (I’ll guess it’ll go on the entire month of October, but who knows)
Our Verdict
Whenever these deals come around, I check my account to see if I have a rewards balance from various spend promotions they run throughout the year. This time, I was able to get $110 in Amazon gift cards with my balance.
Assuming you value ANY gift card at more than 84%, it’s a good deal. Most people value Amazon, Target, gas, etc. at way more than 84%.
