[Expired] Pepper: Save 10% On Amazon, 13% Instacart & More

The Offer

Pepper app is offering the following deals:

  • Get 10% back on Amazon with no limit
  • Get 10% instant discount on Instacart, plus the regular 3% back in Pepper rewards; limit $200 spend
  • Get 15% back  on Netflix with no limit
  • Get 9% back on Meijer with no limit
  • Get 20% back on Petsmart with no limit

The standard Pepper points will be instantly available and the bonus Pepper points will be awarded on 9/16/24. You can see these deals in your messages tab or notifications tab, and you should see the bonus reflected on the checkout screen. Most of these deals end today (8/27/24) and some continue for a few more days.

Our Verdict

Just keep in mind that the bonus points won’t be available for a few weeks, and I wouldn’t recommend buying unless you can manage the risk of something going wrong with the bonus points posting a few weeks down the line. I’d recommend screenshotting and copying the gift card info immediately, and I’d also recommend using up the Pepper points quickly, since people have had issues logging in, etc.

Reports are that Amex Business Gold  to earn 4x if it’s one of your top two categories. And reports are that it counts as Online Shopping for BofA cards and Blue Cash card and ShopYourWay card. And it counts as Computer Software category for BofA Customized Cash Rewards cards and for 1.5x on the Business Platinum card.

Note: While there is no limit to these deals, you might be limited in overall quantities that can be purchased from Pepper in a day. So you might only get $2,000 or some other number until the app stops you. It’s sometimes possible to increase limits by calling in and verifying.

My thanks if you enter my signup code 584255 during the initial signup process. Those who signup with a referral code get double Pepper points on all purchases for 15 days. (Not clear whether these bonus deals get doubled.) No referral links or references in the comments below, please.

This post is incorrect. Amazon is “10x points” and for a purchase of $100 you get 8,000 points, which are worth $4, meaning Amazon cards are now 4% off. Pepper confuses people by mixing up points and percentages and also recently devalued its points. It seems their business model is confusion and they did well enough to get DoC mixed up. Take advantage while it lasts if it works for you, but cash the points out quickly. I have zero trust that this party is going to last and I think Pepper is a crappy company.

The way I understand it is, you get 8,000 points now to match the normal base rate, and then get the rest of the points from the bonus like 15 days later.

I stand corrected, after they credit all the points it would be 10% in total. Hopefully they’re not just waiting to devalue the points again after the recent round of big bonuses.

10,000 points are worth $5, yeah. when you buy a $100 gift card when it’s at a special 10x deal, you earn 20,000 points – you get the base points now and the rest a few weeks later.

if you have a sign up bonus that is 10x everything, you only get 10,000 points for $100 purchase. sign up bonuses preclude you from getting the extra points on one of the special temporary deals.
