Plaza Premium Launches Lounge At Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)

Plaza Premium has launched it’s first U.S. lounge at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The new lounge is located in Terminal E near Gate E31 (near the SkyLink that connects with Terminal A, B, C & D) and is open from 6AM – 1PM daily. American Express Platinum cardholders have access to Plaza Premium lounges for free, this lounge is not currently a Priority Pass lounge.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen any new lounge openings or lounges added to existing lounge networks. Due to COVID-19 this lounge will provide prepackage food rather than a regular buffet.

I don’t understand. I went to the plaza premium site and looked at the drinks menu and they showed prices per drink. So the Amex plat would permit me entrance yo pay $7 for a beer. What’s the point? I understand dfw centurion lounge is still closed, but there’s a fairly decent priority pass lounge in d-terminal with free drinks

Plaza Premium in HK is also very decent. DFW already has a good AMEX lounge, wish they could go to an airport without a good AMEX lounge like SEA or ORD.

Is this their first lounge in the USA? They’re a great option for PP in Asia. Their YVR lounge could be more aligned with their Asia offerings

I love their lounge in Taipei and their arrivals lounge at Heathrow.

Oh man that arrivals lounge at Heathrow was so clutch! I enjoyed their lounge on a layover in Malaysia as well.

The whole point of the lounge experience was the fancy buffets, endless flow of booze, and other non prepackaged amenities. Its nice to have this option, but defly nicer to go back to pre-Covid days.
