Choice

- Stay two separate times between April 2nd and May 25th and get 8,000 Choice points. This can be done multiple times, keep in mind it excludes rooms that are less than $40 per night.
Not a bad promotion, they say 8,000 points is enough for a free night and that’s true but not all properties are 8,000 points so just keep that in mind.
IHG
- IHG’s Accelerate promotion for Q2 of 2018 is now live. You’ll receive bonus IHG points for completing different requirements, you’ll also receive an additional bonus for completing a set number of the tasks
Marriott
- Earn 750 points per night, starting with your third night during the promotional period. Up to a maximum of 36,000 points.
- Register by June 30th
- For stays April 16th through July 20th, 2018
Pretty terrible bonus if you ask me, especially as you need to stay two nights before earning anything. I’ll still register, it just won’t have any influence on my booking behavior.
Starwood Preferred Guest
- Earn 250 points per night, starting with your third night during the promotional period. Up to a maximum of 12,000 points.
- Register by June 30th
- For stays April 16th through July 20th, 2018
- Crossover rewards: Earn SPG points plus 2 Delta miles per $1 spent on SPG properties. Book and stay between April 25 and July 15, 2018. Keep in mind this is targeted
Same as the Marriott bonus above basically. It should really be two nights across both SPG/Marriott before you start earning rather than two in each program but whatever.
Our Verdict
We did a similar post last quarter and readers seemed to prefer it to having an individual post on each hotel chain. Personally I prefer reading it this way as I can just register for multiple promotions at once so I don’t have to worry about doing it when booking. I’ll add other chains as they release their promotions.
