American Express recently added a $100 Dell credit, twice per year, on the business Platinum card. (Check out this post with details on how to maximize and FAQ.) A lot of people are interested in buying some sort of digital product from Dell, such as an XBOX gift card, Microsoft Office, TurboTax, among others.
Quick tip: Dell apparently doesn’t ever tell you that you got the product, it just shows up in something called your Dell Digital Locker within your Dell online account. You’ll get an email confirmation (and perhaps a subsequent request for verification), but nothing beyond that. You just have to check your digital locker to see when it shows up.

I was wondering why I hadn’t received my XBOX code from a Friday order, until reader Joe tipped us off to the existence of this Locker. Lo and behold, it had already been delivered there yesterday.
On a different note, always be wary of phishing scams. From prior experiences, Dell products seem to be a prime target of these scams, and this time too I got a phishing email after placing my order. First I got a legit verification email, then a couple of days later I got another verification email – some googling verified that it’s a phishing scam.
