  • Royal Caribbean

  • Celebrity Cruises
  • Groupon

The Fine Print

Our Verdict

Some pretty nice discounts. Currently, I see Southwest and Airbnb with discounts higher than 3%, which will result in a total discount of around 8% after the coupon code.

Remember to use your Chase Freedom card and a mobile payment method in the Raise app if you haven’t maxed out your Freedom yet. Also, try using a shopping portal on the purchase. There’s usually a lifetime max of how much you can earn across all shopping portals on Raise purchases, but it can’t hurt to try. Looks like up to 5 miles with British and up to 2% back with some portals.

Why did you include the raise 5% offer, which expired on 5/22, in the email on 5/23? You’re awesome doc, but it was frustrating getting to check out and realIzing it expired yesterday. Still only have love for you.

Because it’s an automated e-mail with posts from the previous day.

Man those 5x British miles are tempting but their Portal claw back too much and 40 day wait, but when they do in fact payout it’s quite outsized, cheeky British!

Raise.com banned me because my account was hacked and a total of $8,000 worth of gift cards were purchased.
They refused to re-open my account unless I acknowledged to the credit card company that I made those purchases.
I felt bad they suffered the loss but I really didn’t make the purchases. Also when I purchased $25 gift card from them, I had to go through various verification processes, including sending code to my cell phone. I don’t understand how they would allow such a huge amount of transactions as well as no. of transactions without detecting the fraudulent activities.
It was a “hell no” when they said that and I don’t think I can’t live without Raise.com.
