I don’t think it’s worth planning trips around using free night certificates, but some places might already be on your travel list and this can help with that.
- [Targeted] HSBC Advanced Checking Account (+$300, ends June 30). Not as good as the previous public offer (and people still had a lot of troubles with that as well).
- Citi Prestige Concierge has access to review your accounts (e.g. Marriott Rewards) by /r/churning. Anybody else experience something similar? Seems like an odd move by Citi (and creepy) as I thought the 4th night benefit was a loss leader for them.
- Western Union admits to aiding wire fraud, to pay $586 mln by Reuters. Always nice to see these types of fines being imposed, although in reality it would be nicer if they weren’t necessary.
