- DP: Downgraded CSP to Freedom and all bonus transactions got retroactively given 5x points. by /r/churning. Very surprised by this, but good news none the less!
- United Airlines Sets Minimum Bar on Security by Krebs On Security. I can’t believe they use drop downs for security questions.
- Popular Becomes Second To Launch Credit Cards For Use In Cuba by PYMNTs. Slowly getting traction on this, let’s see what major credit card issuer will be first.

- Marriott Adds Korean Air as Transfer Partner: Why This Improves Both Programs by View From The Wing. Obviously you don’t want to transfer directly, but the air + travel packages might be a good option if they eventuate.
- Some Airlines Will Start Charging Consumers to Complain by View From The Wing. Really don’t like this at all, especially since the fee is charged up front and only refunded if you win. It’s a bit surprising that Ryanair & Wizz Air are using a firm that doesn’t charge this fee and then British Airways and easyJet are. I would have thought that arbitration would be preferred by the airlines. Gary seems to think this is a fair fee to charge, I’d argue that largely depends on the results of these arbitration companies. I’d argue the fact that the airlines would be major customers leads to a massive conflict of interest (although Gary rightly points out this concern as well).
