Why?
Yeah that’s an unwarranted assumption. If crude further collapses you could see more decline, but there’s no reason to believe that’ll necessarily happen. Still the general notion that cheaper fares mean less valuable miles is worthwhile.
Increased competition, introduction of more low cost carriers and basic fares.
