- On the Money: Robots predict how you’ll spend your points by AP News.
- [RUMOR] SPG Website Going Down on August 1st? by US Credit Card Guide. They should really give loyalty members more notice if this is the case, although I suspect it will be extended anyway.
- Uber Turned Off Safety Features Of Car That Killed Pedestrian, Suspended From Autonomous Driving, Settles With Victim’s Family by Dans Deals. Doesn’t surprise me that Uber would be rushing inferior technology onto the streets as soon as possible.
- Is it worth spending $30K on a hotel card? by Frequent Miler. Maybe if the certificates could be used internationally it would, but the US based properties aren’t attractive options.
Good to know to make sure all points are transferred before that date.
“Companies have used your past purchases to market you items for years. If you buy a tennis racket from Amazon, soon you’ll get ads from Amazon trying to sell you tennis balls.”
That’s not true. If you buy a tennis racket from Amazon, you’ll soon get Amazon ads for tennis rackets, tennis rackets, more tennis rackets, and rackets made for tennis.
Thanks for the chuckle!
My dashboard says that I’m 3 yrs elite and I just requalified for Gold (not certain if this now means 4 yrs). My question is: does this mean that I have no chance for Lifetime Gold now?
Unfortunately, we don’t know what your’re talking about, as your question has nothing to do with the author’s post.
Just found my way back here and I’m not saying that others don’t know what I’m speaking about but let them say it for themselves. And I feel that this makes sense due to the point that I’m on track for Lifetime Gold. If the site shuts down, then what will happen concerning that pursuit? Is that coming to an end at the same time? Or will Marriott allow this to continue somehow? Credit card wise, I have the business version along with an AU user which is helping me to pursue this Lifetime Gold challenge. So of course this has to do with the post.
Let US see if you know what I’m talking about now…..
Does that mean SPG Amex will not be available for application soon?
no one knows… but someone i know did mention the referral end date on the SPG Amex personal is set to expire 4/15.
The articles linked within that article discussing how Uber slashed their safety features were very interesting. No wonder another reader here previously commented they’d almost been run down by one of these vehicles in Tempe and theirs was not an uncommon experience!
I’m more interested in the credit card part. Should I pay the annual fee for the spg card? It’s due tomorrow…
No idea
