Signed up when this deal came out, it expired, I bought at Whole Foods on Saturday for $6.49 with 6% tax of $0.39 using Albert debit card for 20% off for $1.38, got reimbursed today for $6.49. Free hot sauce and 99 cent moneymaker.
Another DP: I texted before the deal went dead and I was able to submit my receipt this afternoon.

I was paid via Venmo this morning 7.99 – and as another comment noted – small moneymaker with 5% cashback with Discover.
Was paid out this morning after texting my email (so I would get paid via PayPal) and a photo of the receipt last night. The sauce cost $4.99 and I was paid $4.99. Made a small profit thanks to Discover It’s 5% on groceries and a low food tax. Thanks DoC!

My local Whole Foods had original and peach hot sauces. Texted the receipt and got confirmation immediately to expect payment in 48-72 hours. Thanks DoC!
How much are they sending you? The sauce was $5.99 at my local Whole Foods, but when I sent the receipt, I got a message saying I’d get $3.99.
Mine was 5.49 and the message that came back within minutes said 5.49. I was wondering if it was automated or manually read the number
This happened to me too. I responded to the text with the amount I should be credited and they sent me the difference.
I had also responded to the text but haven’t heard back yet. Glad to know they did take care of it in your case.
Update: they sent me the additional $2.00 now. They probably use automated software to scan the receipt and issue the rebates and manually review if someone raises an issue.
Submitted receipt yesterday. They texted me that they’d send me $3.00, but the price was $5.99. Nothing else on my receipt was $3.00. I texted back but they haven’t responded. Received $3.00 via Venmo today. I wonder if they hadn’t anticipated how many people would take advantage.

FYI, finding these items can be a pain. I used the ‘store locator’ feature on 3 of these rebate items and found they were all at a Target near me. Went and couldn’t find any of them. After checking the Target app it showed all 3 as temporarily unavailable. Similar situation for food freebies at CVS.
