Our Verdict
You need to keep the crypto transferred for a year, this has been offered in the past once. As always do your own research to see if you’re comfortable keeping your crypto with Robinhood. If you are this is an easy 2% bonus.

Some cons:
As mentioned before: No 2FA other than SMS (no Authy/Google Authenticator)there is no whitelist feature like in Coinbase1 year hold. Some of the bonus can be clawed back if portfolio amount drops below deposit amount and you withdraw money. If you are not withdrawing money this does not apply (at least this is how I understand the terms)No longer a con:
you can now stake ETH or SOL, but it talks about a 25% fee for RH starting 10/1/2025 – see https://robinhood.com/us/en/support/articles/staking/; however CoinBase has a 35% fee on staking rewards, so this is probably better

Is there a reason I shouldn’t be?
Brokerages have been hacked before.
I don’t even think you need to keep it in Crypto. I think you just need to keep the balance that you funded. This is better than the 2% brokerage transfer bonus. The brokerage bonus requires a 5-year hold paid out monthly, this crypto bonus is a 1-time bonus and has a 1-year hold if I’m not mistaken.
I did the 1% crypto transfer from earlier this year (as ETH), with the potential of 2% if the community hit $500m (which they did). I got the 2% in my brokerage in one batch (all $7 worth lol). I already sold the ETH. I did not get the 2% deducted.
Well you could check with the people who kept their Solana on Robinhood:
Robinhood forcibly dumped all their tokens around $16 each meaning they missed the subsequent 10x
