[Rumor] Chase Ink Cards (Unlimited & Cash) To Lose 0% APR

Chase Ink Business cards (Unlimited & Cash) currently offer 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. According to Chaikel on DDF this will be removed sometime on April 4th. The timing for this makes sense as this is also when sign up bonuses and other marketing materials will be changed over for Q2. It isn’t clear if the sign up bonus on these cards will also change or not, although I suspect they won’t. Most readers don’t care about 0% introductory periods, but some resellers and those maximizing high yield savings accounts might.

I keep checking Chase’s website and I haven’t seen the 0% intro offer removed yet for the Chase Ink Business cards (Unlimited & Cash). Do we still expect this to happen?

Now Q3 and 0% introductory offer is still available.

When I got the CIC last month, I didn’t even realize it had 0% period until the card paperwork arrived. But it’s Chase so I wasn’t inclined to use it.

What if you applied like last week when the terms still said 0%? Will they honor it?

Yes, it goes by the terms at time of application.

P2 falling under 5/24 this month,

Can one get approved for both Ink unlimited and Ink Preferred on the same day?

Look to be the best Chase cards considering the new rules on personal sapphire ruled out that option.

Definitely not, Chase business cards have a 1/30 rule (1 card per 30 days), double-dipping attempts just ensure a decline.

https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/6qxv8b/getting_approved_for_chase_business_cards/

“There is a 1/30 rule guideline (1 card every 30 days) for the business cards, so you want to wait until you’re at least past that. You’ll get a denial unless you haven’t gotten ANY (personal or business) Chase cards in the last 30 days.”

That’s a shame. I floated $40k on the Amex Blue Biz Plus for their 15 month 0% introductory offer and kept the cash in accounts earning 3-4%. It was a sad day to have to pay that off. I won’t be eligible for any new Chase cards for a few more months and was looking forward to abusing them as well. 🙂

Which accounts were earning 3-4%?

As a side note, on my chase ink statement it said at the end “Reminder, this is a business card and should not be used for personal expenses.”

Yeah, they put that all over. Other than a few people getting a ‘reminder’ for having charged Netflix on it, haven’t heard of any issues from that. Most charges are pretty ambiguous.

They really reached out to tell someone to not charge Netflix to it?

Funny that AMEX Offers on Biz Cards have Hulu, Fubo TV, and CBS all access. tinytavosa Ann

Yep. Of course I can’t find it again now, it was buried in some massive CIP/CIC-related thread on either reddit.com/r/churning or flyertalk, saw it when I was reading through piles of that stuff last week before applying. There were only a few reports of it and I think it was a year or two ago, but if you do Netflix it might be safer to look for Netflix GCs through Staples. Never saw anyone else report any other scrutiny of business-vs-personal usage.

It’s a regulatory thing for them, but not for you. Just don’t tell them you use it for personal expenses. But don’t say anything untrue. Watch some politicians speak to get an idea.

I have not been offered anything of value by Chase selected for you offers.

I will not be under 5/24 to May or June this year. I had planned to apply for the Ink Unlimited in June. Without the 0% purchase APR, I doubt that I may make the effort despite the $500 level of UR sign up incentive.. I have other fish to fry.

I am paying off $8K of 0 APR before interest fees attach. I have been using my CIC regularly and will continue to do so.

My use of CIP after MinSp has been only a couple hundred bucks in the first year. Due to a referral that came in February when the annual fee renewed, I paid the annual fee and will keep the CIP to January next year. Actual spend will be minimal.
