Samsung Pay: 50% Off Samsung.com Coupons ($50 Max Denomination)

The Offer

  • Samsung Pay is offering a 50% discount when redeeming points for Samsung.com coupons. Prices are as follows:
    • $10 code = 1,250 points (normally 2,500)
    • $25 code = 3,125 points (normally 6,250)
    • $50 code = 6,250 points (normally 12,500)
    • Codes over $50 are at standard rates

The Fine Print

  • Coupons are valid until April 25th, 2019

Our Verdict

Unfortunately you can only use one coupon per order, so that’s something to keep in mind. I’d probably wait to use the coupons until they have some type of sale, but if you see anything of interest for under $50 let us know what it is in the comments below.

The listings for $25, $10 and $5 are still in the Samsung Pay app, but when you try to redeem it says “Sorry. This items is out of stock” (for all of them)

Yeah, all those poor bastiges like myself, scrambling to find a decent use for all the points Samsung forced us to sit on, in a flash, when they killed stuff like the prepaid Visa without any warning…..yeah, their right, but still a DICK move. The only positive thing to come out of that is that earning is no longer capped at 50 transactions per month. I’m into the 70s for this month, and still earning platinum on each transaction…and my Samsung Pay/Chase Pay link is allowing me to earn 5% back on each and every one of them, for the final quarter of this year. C’mon Discover…hop on the mobile pay cash back category bandwagon.

Yuo can actually convert these coupons into cash by buying something from samsung.com and dropshipping it to a buyer on ebay. I did that the last time when samsung ran one of these deals.

How do you go about doing that?

Its pretty simple.

1. Choose an item on samsung.com to list on ebay. i chose a USB flash drive.

2. List the flash drive on ebay.

3. When the buyer pays for their item, go to samsung.com and buy the flash drive and use your promo code. But instead of shipping the flash drive to yourself, you ship it to the shipping address the ebay buyer provided.

4. The buyer recieves the flash drive, and you get to pocket the payment.

This way you never have to touch the product. It goes directly from samsung.com to the buyer on ebay and passes you entirely. This tactic is called dropshipping, and its a way in our case to turn points directly into cash.

I’ve found an actual use though with the Amex Gold. I can get a pickup meal for my wife and I from a decent restaurant with these codes and the Amex credit for just a couple bucks. The code or $10 on their own not enough to make it worth it.

As for the Samsung coupons I actually have a galaxy and think most of the stuff under $50 is pretty much useless crap. I mean there are good deals on chargers but doesn’t everyone already have 2-3 of these if they own a cell phone?
