Our Verdict
Samsung had me considering a Samsung phone because of Samsung Pay rewards, but then they devalued it twice in a week and it’s now mostly worthless. Sad to see promos like this only for S9 users as well.
There is also another promotion of 500 worthless points after any 3 purchases. Also s9 only.

DoC, while the rewards system is pretty devalued now, deals like $50 Overstock GC for $40 still make it worth it for the profit!
Yeah, those deals are still great. It’s just previously i was considering switching to Samsung purely for the pay benefits but with the rewards program gone the discounts aren’t frequent enough for it to be realistic.
Samsung Pay Rewards are almost nothing now. It’s been diluted so much in the last year. This is something simular to the Note8 only promo

to be fair, they offered this to all SPay users in the past. Its a limited offer so I can see why they are targeting the new s9 users now
