I asked for some requested changes to the site on the contact us page. I thought I’d keep this page updated with our to do lists and what is actively being worked on. Feel free to add your feature requests in the comments below.
Immediate To Do
- Open external links in a new window.
- Time readded to recent comments page for each comment to help people keep where they are up to. Need to monitor server resources after implemented so might be rolled back when readded.
- Add/test report/flag feature.
- Dark mode (this is just a toggle, current mode will remain unless you toggle this). Inspiration here.
- fix so most whitespace is removed
- Transparent logo so not majority white
- Fix newsletter unsubscribing
- Option to collapse parent comments
- Is it possible to show that a comment was edited and have an edit timestamp? This partially works as an edit icon now appears but not a timestamp or who edited it. Working on a full fix
Long Term To Do
- Account creation
Ignore users(done, but won’t work until account creation is implemented)
- Improved referral threads. This is really part of the account creation, but once that is added you’ll need an account (free) to be able to leave a referral.
- Smart homepage posts. Grey out expired posts, view only posts that are new site last visit, exclude state specific posts etc.
In Process Of Being Done
- Make comments work on scheduled posts in the future (will only work when the post has been live on the site before. Normally used for bank account bonuses that are live again that we typically post over the weekend).

- Allow comment search on two characters, previously three was the minimum
