I’m not booking any flights this fall, but some summer flights have had some big drops without a coupon. I’ve had 9K points locked in as a 3 month low on a TPA to SDF flight on June 24. Price dropped to 5K points the day Doc posted. (And back up to 7.5k now.) I see a lot of really cheap flights for July now.
It doesn’t appear that Southwest lets you price adjust the same exact booking any longer. I changed the same flight from Basic and to Wanna get away plus for a 1500 point credit. (Since wanna get away plus was now cheaper than my basic booking.) Then I changed back to Basic for the additional 3500 points.

Anyone else having problems locating the same flight you already have booked when logged in? Google flights and incognito mode show the flight, but its entirely absent from the search results on the browser that’s logged in. Combined with how difficult it is to see a receipt of what you paid (need to go to the booking and select ’email me receipt’), I feel they are doing everything possible to discourage rebooking. The not seeing the flights is a big issue, though.
Edit: this was my error. However I did get screwed over during an international rebooking where I selected ‘save as flight credit’ rather than ‘refund to original payment method’. When I went to rebook, the December flight was too far away, where the flight credit would be expired. $122 I now have to figure out how to use in the next 6 months.

(I do have two Chase-SWA cards. They’re well worth the annual fee now.)
I have a currently booked flight, but the fare difference (-3500 pts) approximates the checked bag fee and I don’t currently have a CC, so that’s annoying.
