Southwest Plus 50K Phone Offer No Longer Available

The Southwest Plus credit card is no longer available for the referral signup offer of 50,000 points over the phone.

The Chase Southwest Plus card has been on-and-off with a 50,000 point bonus and a 25,000 point bonus. Recently, many have been able to get the 50,000 point bonus by calling a special phone number (1-888-691-2301) which was dedicated to applying for the Plus card via referral. That number is no longer working.

This is the message you get when calling:

Please be advised that we are no longer accepting applications over the phone for this offer. If you have materials pertaining to this offer, please check them for a website where you can apply or a return address to mail in your application.

The advantage of the Plus card is the lower annual fee of $69 versus the $99 fee on the Premier card. Hopefully, it will be back soon via public offer. Here are the current options to apply for Southwest cards:

• Southwest Plus 25k The Plus card is still available for signup at this link, but it only has a 25,000 point bonus.
• Southwest Premier Personal 50k You can still get the 50,000 point bonus on the Southwest Premier card either via this direct link or via a referral link from the comments of our previous post. (Do someone a favor and take it from the comments!)
• Southwest Premier Business 50k, The business version of the Southwest Premier card can be found with a 50,000 point bonus at this direct link. There aren’t any referrals on the business card.
