Can any of you rich blood Spirit haters please explain the difference between Spirit and United (for example) for domestic, apart from triple the price tag? And extra baggage fees.
I traveled domestically United, Spirit, and American at least 20 times in the last 3 years and will never fly anything except Spirit and Frontier (or any other budget). All of their seats equally suck, dimensions are created for hobbits, service is non-existent, and I decide to pay accordingly. Happy holidays!
I think the legacy carriers offer some peace of mind if anything goes wrong. If my connection to Phoenix/ Dallas/ Denver etc arrives late and I miss the connecting flight, there’s a good chance that if I’m flying United or American, there will be several later flights that day I can get rebooked on. Spirit and Frontier, not so much. And if they do, the seats fill up much faster and the odds aren’t in your favor.
Personally, I’ll shit on any of the airlines. We just happen to be talking about Spirit right now, so…

Datapoint: I filed for personal bankruptcy a few weeks ago, submitted my documents, and Spirit matched my status.
Can you match Hertz PC to any airlines and get this?

Says you need to show that you actually earned the tier. If the subject field ever gets fixed i may attempt based on just the status from another status match
I realize that they are restructuring, not liquidating, but either way, this an airline in bankruptcy, so good luck with that.
