Sprint Credit Card To Shut Down On March 17th

Sprint credit card holders have been sent a messaging saying that the card will shut down on March 17th. The message is as follows:

Please be advised that the difficult decision was made to shut down the Sprint Credit Card and Sprint Visa Signature® Credit Card portfolio issued by The Bank of Missouri and serviced by Home Credit US, LLC, and effective as of 12:00 am CT on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, all Purchases and Cash Advances relating to Sprint Credit Card and Sprint Visa Signature® Credit Card Accounts are suspended. This notice provides you with helpful information regarding the details of this suspension. In the near future, all Sprint Credit Card and Sprint Visa Signature® Credit Card Accounts will be closed. More information about the closure will be provided at a later date.

Seems crazy to only give people a day’s notice that their card will be shut down and unusable, especially considering what is currently going on. I hope that cardholders were not relying on this as their only credit card. F.A.Q’s can be found here.
