- American Express is offering some SPG personal cardholders spending bonuses. Register by May 30th and earn a $50 statement credit after each $1,500 you spend in eligible purchases on your card through August 10th, 2018. Up to $100
- Others have the same offer but it’s 7,500 points for every $3,000 in spend up to 15,000 points.
- Or $125 statement credit for every $10,000 in spend, up to $250 in statement credits

Our Verdict
Seems to be a continuation of the same deal, with a new set of targeted people and different registration/spend by dates. This works out to be an 3.3% cash back plus the 1x SPG points per $1 spent you’d normally earn if you spent exactly $1,500 or $3,000. Although keep in mind the spending rates will change on August 1st to 2 Marriott points per $1 spent (currently it’s 3x as 1 SPG = 3 Marriott).
