Our Verdict
Nice savings. There’s a similar deal from Chase Offers. These stack well with gift card deals from Office Depot/Max.
Hat tip to reader P
Is there a way to see all offers? The page only shows 100.
you have to add them for the overflowing ones to show up; i usually add to a card i don’t use to often, but you can also add the fast-expiring ones so they go away quicker once you add
Doesn’t AMEX have a tendency to shut down accounts that do this sort of thing?
I don’t know about shutting down accounts but I guess I have read that they have clawed back MR points but it probably has to do with the volume and the percentage of these types of transactions to your overall usage of the card.
There’s no mention that office max is included or excluded in the terms, so hopefuly my office max purchase gets the $10.
One company, one website, one point of sale system.
It’s on my Amex Gold Business card. Probably, it appears only on business cards.
Always a risk of points/miles clawback with AMEX if you purchase gift cards. Not sure what info OD/OM shares.
OD shares L3 like Staples but I’ve have never had the 5% clawed back on my SC whether I’m buying $75 or $1000 in gift cards.
It’s on all of my business cards, none of my personal cards.
I got it on Bonvoy Business.

Don’t see it on either of my AMEX cards.
Could I stack with chase offer? Often AMEX offer only works with registered card in one single transction.
You can try to split transactions if your location allows. You would have to charge a minimum of $75 to the Amex card with the offer and the rest with Chase.
IIRC, they’re pretty hostile to that kind of stuff
I think it’s usually because they don’t know how to do it. When the person knows how to do it, they don’t care. It’s usually not a problem at the store I go to, but occasionally someone will tell me they can’t do that.
I’ve only split it like that twice so far across 2 different stores but I didn’t have any problems. Split it across 3 Chase cards both times. Got the max credit on each card.
