  • Use your Citi card to earn 5x/5% per $1 spent, up to 2,500/$25, through 07/31/2020 on eligible purchases you make online.
  • Use your Citi card to earn 5x/5% per $1 spent, up to 2,500/$25, through 07/31/2020 on Home Improvement Stores, Home Furnishing Stores, Computer & Electronics Stores, Department Stores.

The Fine Print

  • To enjoy this special offer, sign up by 06/15/2020.
  • This offer starts upon enrollment and will end on 07/31/2020. AAdvantage® miles are only earned on eligible purchases. Earnings associated with this program will equal 4 AAdvantage® bonus mile(s) per $1 spent on eligible purchases and may overlap with other special offers in which you are currently enrolled. AAdvantage® miles earned with this offer are subject to a maximum of 2,500 AAdvantage® bonus miles.
  • Offer excludes restaurants, gas stations and eligible American Airlines purchases earning double miles.

Our Verdict

Not as good as the 10x/10% offer from last month, but online is a wide category, so still a nice deal. If I’m reading the fine print correctly, it’s 4x bonus + 1x regular earn.

I’ve only seen this sent out on American Airlines cards, but based on prior experience I’d guess it’s being sent out in a targeted fashion across various cards.
