Today I got:

Earn $100 in statement credits when you spend $1,000 – $1,999.99 each month or earn $200 in statement credits when you spend $2,000 or more each month on eligible gas station, grocery store and restaurant purchases. Activation required. Offer ends 12/31/2025.

Anyone know how long these take to start coming? I got this mid April but still haven’t seen the credit yet and I’ve definitely spent $2000+ on all 3. My May statement just closed today too.

Got the card mid April? Got the Gas/Grocery/Rest (GGR) offer mid-April? That doesn’t track since the GGR offer emails always come on the 1st of the month.

Anyway, most of the offers post the credits within a few days of the required spending being completed. The GGR credit used to as well. But ever since it became an annual activation (activate now for all of 2025), the GGR credits have a big delay between achieving and posting. Mine usually shows up about a week after my new statement starts. So my April GGR credit posted around May 21 for me.

One important quirk is that credits are always backdated to the start of the current statement period. So if you’re not in the habit yet of scrolling down to the very bottom of your recent transactions list, then you might have already received the credit and just not realized it. So check the start of your recent transactions and then check the first transactions of the last statement period.

Oh I got the offer April 1st actually. I’m wondering if I activated late for April but I never got that one.
Will have to check later this week for May since my statement just closed on the 29th. It says in the TOS that it might take up to 2 months so I guess I’ll check back later.
I usually get the other credits immediately.

Are you trying to get the $225 SUB? Like Jmo said, you might look back to the beginning of the statement dates to find the credit.

Has anyone’s GGR statement credit posted for January spend?

Jmo

It usually doesn’t show up for me until later in the month, but posts to the beginning of the current statement period.

Mine just showed up as well today on 2/17, and is backdated to 2/11, one day after the start of my new statement period / recent activity.

My statement closed on 2/14 and no credit yet. They usually post at the beginning of the next statement backdated to the beginning of the previous statement, I received the $75 credit for the online spending but not the GGR one

Jmo
Jmo (@guest_2006062)
February 17, 2025 10:34

Just a point of correction – they do not backdate to the *previous statement*. Once the statement is closed that is final and there won’t be any transactions including credits added to that statement period. Instead they’ll add into the new statement period (recent activity) and backdate to the beginning of that period. So a credit for Jan GGR that arrives on Feb 25 for example will be backdated to ~2/15.

February 17, 2025 12:37

Yes, for this one, it did backdate to the beginning of CURRENT statement. BUT the prior credits, like tge $75 for online shopping and the GGR credit for last Oct – Dec, all posted to the beginning of PRIOR statement.

Jmo
Jmo (@guest_2006425)
February 17, 2025 18:38

Yes but they posted *during* the previous statement period. I’m saying once a new statement starts, no credit ever get added / just show up in the previous statement. You’re right that some credits post faster than others, but they never get backdated farther than the start of the current cycle. The Statements are final and complete documents – nothing gets added to them retroactively.

Got two new offers today:
-150,000 points for $1,500 spend on anything from 2/1 through 3/31.
-10% back on Home Improvement purchases or $800 each month, 2/1 through 4/30 up to $100 in monthly statement credits.

This goes with the existing offer I have for $100/$200 each month for $1000/$2000 spend all year on gas, grocery and dining, and one for $75 back for $750 of online spend from Jan 15-Feb 14.

Anyone have any data points on stores that count for both grocery and online purchases, or for both home improvement online purchases. Any with gift card options or in-store purchases with a payment app?

I received a new spend offer via post mail: 15% back in statement credits each month up to $175 per month if you spend $1000+ each month on home improvement. Good from 2/1 – 4/30. Looks to me like $1166.66 spend per month will max this offer out.

You can spend over a grand each month on home improvement?

I have a Sears TYP Mastercard and got its flavor of the offer described in the OP. Gas/Grocery/Restaurant spend of $750 = 7,500 bonus TYP, $1500+ GGR spend = 15,000 Bonus TYP. Applies to “each month” in 2025.

Activated in late December so all GGR purchases made from Jan 1 forward should qualify (subject to the usual MCC discussion/etc). Had a little over $1500 in January GGR spend and show posted several days before the cycle date.

Statement is now available and… shows NO Bonus TYP. At all.

Anybody happen to know: (1) when the TYP will show up? And (2) Is “each month” every *calendar* month (suggesting Jan needs to complete before they will run a TYP calc) or every *statement* month?

All feedback appreciated. IIRC some of these offers follow the statement month and some follow calendar, but I have never received this or or any other “all year long” offer before to have a reference point.

Don’t have the TYP version but I have (and had) the GGR offers and they tend to post 2-3 weeks after the statement cycle ends for the prior month.
