Our Verdict
Basically a free $30 if you’re targeted.
Hat tip to reader Donerly
I made 3 99 cent amazon prime video purchases with my targeted u.s. bank cash rewards card on 6/12. I received my $10 statement credit today 6/15. Easy $7 moneymaker for me.
Already received the $30 credit after spending less than $20 total!
Cash+ got an offer for $10 statement credit for 3 transactions.
I usually get targeted for these U.S. Bank deals, but didn’t this time. I’ve forwarded a few of them to DoC and haven’t gotten any reply or seen them posted, so I’ve stopped bothering.
Back around Thanksgiving last year, I got offers for my USBank Cash+ VISA and Dillons Mastercard (issued by USBank) to get $20 statement credit if I spend at least $75 total for 3 online purchases. I did that at Amazon, Ebay, Walmart.com. The offer said it’d take 2-3 billing cycles to get the credit. It’s been 4 cycles now and still no credit. Called USBank last week and was told to wait one more cycle before they’ll look into it.
Mine says “Use your card for goods and goods and services. Get goods and services!”
I wonder if a minimal iTunes purchase would count? Could be a small MM even with the 4 transactions for $10 offer. And would individual Amazon Prime Video purchases count?
Yea, it’s not clear if a minimum purchase is needed or whether iTunes works.
Is this credit cards only or US Bank debit cards too?
Not unless you get an email specifically listing that card.
Got an email from Synchrony bank with offers similar to Amex Offers and Bank Of America Deals etc. Includes discount from Zales jewellery and other merchants
nada for my Cash+
