- Wells Fargo is offering some members 5x rewards at grocery stores until February 28, 2021. Limit of 12,000 bonus points ($3,000 in spend)
The Fine Print
- During the three (3) month promotional period beginning December 1, 2020 and running through February 28, 2021, 5X rewards points (1 base plus 4 bonus) are earned for every $1 spent in net purchases (purchases minus returns/credits) during the promotional period, at retailers whose merchant code for American Express is classified as grocery stores.
- The maximum amount of bonus rewards points that can be earned with this promotion is 12,000 (which is $3,000 in net purchases) regardless of how much you purchase or how many transactions you make during the promotional period.
- Wells Fargo does not have the ability to control how a retailer chooses to classify its business and therefore reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for bonus rewards points.
- No registration is required. Purchases not processed using the merchant code for American Express for grocery stores will not qualify for bonus rewards points.
- You may not earn bonus rewards points for purchases made through third-party payment accounts, at online marketplaces, with retailers who submit purchases using a mobile/wireless card reader, or if you use a mobile or digital wallet.
- ATM transactions, cash advances of any kind, balance transfers, SUPERCHECKS™, cash equivalents such as money orders and prepaid gift cards, or fees or interest posted to a linked account, including but not limited to returned payment fees, late fees, and monthly or annual fees, do not earn points.
- Bonus points earned through this offer will show as redeemable within 1 – 2 billing periods from the date they were earned.
- To qualify for this promotional offer, your Wells Fargo credit card account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment.
