Our Verdict
Insane promotion. They’ll even take expired coupons, as stated in the fine print. So who’s going to be the first one to go into Applebee’s with a $200 Chase coupon and get up to $200 of a $400Â meal? LOL.
In any case, you should be able to find random coupons on the web and bring them in to get 50% off. Try to find large coupons, like $40 off $100 or something like that so that you can just use one coupon and done. Drop a comment if you find a good coupon to use.

I brought in an expired tanning certificate for $25.
I asked before my friend and I ordered and pulled out the article online and the waitress knew about it and got the manager and she gave us 1/2 value (12.50) off total bill (excluding alcohol).
I would ask before you order. Even the hostess knew of the promotion.
Called manager at Applebee’s and he said it was false information. He had someone else come in asking the same.
I’ve got a grubhub 50% off code. We’ll see if they take it. Most of the stuff at Applebee’s is about 25% overpriced to start with.

Restaurants operate on much smaller margins than you might think. Before any of you decide to fast for a week in anticipation of your feast at Applebees… a suggestion: WAIT until you see actual data points of what is actually being allowed. There is either “fine print” not yet revealed or the appropriate modifications will soon be made. If we can spot an “insane” promotion it’s only a matter of time before the ship turns back and returns to the dock.
