What happened to eBay Bonus Bucks? Did not see a single promo offer all month of July.
Used on a small item. Hope it tracks ok.
Does Topcashback work if you purchase something (like sunglasses) off ebay with an ebay gift card?
What is everybody buying?
Max $50 per transaction, might be good to mention.
Does anyone know if you go over $1000 purchase, I assume they give you $50, and not just declare your purchase invalid ($0)?
Am I the only one that can’t be bothered with cash back sites? They’ve rarely tracked properly and keeping track of all the different sites and offers is a huge chore.
I buy from like 2 site, and I used only topcashback (from DoC’s referral a long time ago). And mine has tracked 95% of the time. So…its worth the 10 seconds for me to go to the site, and get ihe cashback. Gotten around $140 cashback since a year or two ago.

The best in terms of tracking bar none is Ebates now owned by Rakuten. TopCashback is okay but not as good. I also use Swagbucks and MyPoints. Swagbucks owes me 500 points ($5) for making online purchase this month.
I’ve been using cashback sites for the past two years. I’ve used eBates, TopCashBack, and Befrugal. Here are my 2cents:
Lifetime Cash Back on eBates: $4,107.48
eBates has the best customer service of the 3 companies I used. Even though their rates are on the lower end, they will give you a temporary credit when contacting customer service about missing money
Lifetime Cash Back on Topcashback: $6,670.72
Rates are higher than eBates and 95% of the time everything goes smoothly. Customer service on non-cashback related issues takes about 24 hours for a reply.
What I like about Topcashback is once you earn your money, you can request a withdraw immediately (limit once per 24hours) instead of waiting every quarter like eBates. Also if you choose to get your money via VGC, you get a 5% bonus. In the past, I was able to transfer the VGC amount from Paypal to my bank account but I think they caught on I haven’t been able to lately. I just pay all my bills with the VGC.
What I don’t like about Topcashback is they have this system where they batch all their missing cashback inquires to their retailers only once a month. One time it took them 26 days before I got an email saying my missing cashback has been submitted to their retailers. I had 3 other submissions that were submitted on the same day so that’s how I now know they only submit once a month.
Lifetime Cash Back on Befrugal: $1,110.11
These guys are crooks and I would stay away from them. I only used them for 6 months before moving on to Topcashback. Customer service is a joke, they keep replying with generic email responses that don’t really answer your question. I understand how these cashback sites work. I buy something from their retailer and they get a cut of the commission. Befrugal started reversing my transaction/payment stating that they haven’t received their commissions from retailers I purchased from. I don’t see how that’s my problem. They stole 11 transactions totaling $797.14 from me. They still owe me $233.33 which I don’t believe I’ll ever see from them.
What are you buying that’s adding up to these large amounts?
My shopping is 80% on eBay, 10% Amazon, 10% Staples for gift cards.
I have minimal issues with Ebates/Rakuten, and when I do, the resolves the problem immediately by allowing me to screenshot the order into the form.
TCB takes days to respond, and there are so many issues that were tracking the problems is a full-time job. I finally developed a spreadsheet to track my orders and screenshot at every stage. I highly recommend you do the same if you are going to use them.

TCB now owes me a ton of money. The time lag on the multitude of problems was exasperating. Google TCB, and you will see the number of similar issues. TCB shut my account when I sent them spreadsheets of all the information they requested. I have screenshots documenting the transactions so they can no longer deny the claims. Now they are ignoring my emails and not paying out so be aware. In my opinion, TCB is not a reputable company. I think the company mantra is delay, delay, delay, so people go away since some of the amounts due were small bonuses. TCB is not worth the time, in my opinion.
Thanks! Gotta stack up on my gift card before sales tax goes live for my state.
