Our Verdict
I shouldn’t need to say this, but I’ll say it anyway: racist, homophobic, sexist and other offensive comments will be automatically removed. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all.
Have you been to any of the points of interest/museums before? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
What about just plain American History? What if I wanted to take my kids to see the Liberty Bell or The Washington monument?
NMAAHC is great, and definitely worth seeing. It is right on the mall, and convenient to other Smithsonian museums as well. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get tickets before the end of February unless you get a same-day ticket (available online starting at 6:30 am; they run out after a few minutes).
I hope this encourages people to remember what we did to our fellow African Americans.
Unfortunately, the National Museum of African American History & Culture in DC is booked until June.
I hate to be cheeky, but the San Francisco museum listed here is like a block from many other SF points of interest. If you’re headed to Bloomingdale’s, you should maybe NOT list Bloomingdale’s as your destination but rather…
Legitimately not sure if there is any better way to find a more convoluted, less rewarding, and egregiously offensive way to save money.
I’m in!
Sounds totally legit. I need to use up my bloomy GCs.
Seems to me about as wrong as using a promo code in an online order that you weren’t targeted for and got off the web.
Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I’d use the code if it were convenient — just like I loaded an Uber discount code last week from Dansdeals that I had no idea what it was for.
Uber encouraging visits to these historical sites is a good thing.
