Uber has announced that starting August 4th both Platinum & Diamond Rewards members will have price protection on a route benefit replaced with 10 rewards points for every dollar spent on UberX rides between two locations you set as your favorites.
Diamond members will also have 3 Free Uber Eats Deliveries replaced with Double Points on Uber Eats. Complimentary upgrades will also be replaced with 6 reward points for every dollar spent on Uber Black and Black SUV.In June Uber removed the $5 cash out option.
