[WA only] BECU Business VIsa Credit Card Review: 3% Cash Back For First Six Months

We’ve talked about BECU before, they offer a 4.07% savings account (only on balances up to $1,000 unfortunately) but they currently have a promotion running on their Business Visa credit card that some people might be interested in. They are offering 3% cash back on all purchases for 6 months or 0% APY on 12 months.

Card Basics

  • 3% cash back on all purchases for 6 months or 0% APY on 12 months
  • Normally the card earns 1.5% on all purchases
  • No limit to how much you can earn in rewards
  • Cash back is credited to your statement every month
  • No annual fee
  • No cash-advance fee
  • No foreign transaction fee

special offer

Our Verdict

You need to be a member to be eligible to apply (must live, work or worshipping in Washington State qualifies you – more options here). Most people will be better off with another card that earns at a high rate on all purchases for example:

Offer good through at least June 30, 2019;

Non-BECU Members may apply for a credit card online. If your credit card is approved, you will need to visit a BECU location to establish membership before your credit card can be used. Only businesses qualified to become a member may establish membership.

This card is useful if you are dodging 5/24 for Chase as it is a business card and gets 3% on everything for 6 months.I believe Alliant and Discover it Miles are personal cards.

I went to a BECU branch and they told me this expired last summer.
