Walgreens has launched a new bank account and debit card called Scarlet. Earlier this year Walgreens announced it would be launching a cobranded credit card and prepaid debit card. The card is issued by InComm and runs on the Mastercard payment network. The breakdown of the card/account is as follows:
- $1.95 purchase price and initial load of $20 – $500
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 3% Walgreens cash at Walgreens
- 1% Walgreens cash on all other purchases
- $10 statement credit for first $10 spent, available until September 30, 2023
- Free 2-day early direct deposit
- Reloading is cash only
