I’ve been getting the Peppermint Bark every week on Monday around lunchtime. Really nice that the reward is pushed out to app a day early.
I get issued the deal on Mondays. Has anyone tried using it Monday instead?
Update to my comment from a year ago 😉 I’ve seen plenty of people walk in and get the coffee, and just bypass the line and walk out. It is Free Coffee Tuesday after all.
I know it’s not just me, but the app is painfully slow to the point of being unusable. 2 minutes to go from screen to screen. Check the reviews on the Google Play store, the one-star reviews are twice as many as the five star reviews.

I think these have traditionally just been free hot coffee’s, but the email I received said the May offer would be hot or handcrafted iced coffee – any size. So this would not be the premixed iced coffee from the dispenser, but the ones you order for them to make at the same terminals you order hoagies, etc.
How does this work in practice? Is the coffee a free add-on when you purchase something else, or this a total freebie where you walk in, pour your coffee, show your app, and never buy anything?
Most likely just have to scan your app barcode at the register. No additional purchase necessary. This past month it was any size coffee for $1 every day and didn’t even need the app.
Every Tuesday your app will have an offer for a free coffee. At the register you activate the offer(which sets a 15 minute timer) and the cashier scans the barcode and you are good to go. No other purchase needed, I’ve done many a trips with a free item reward and nothing else.
