The Fine Print
- Enroll: Click “Enroll Today” on the promotion landing page.
- Fund: Deposit or transfer $10,000 or more during the offer period (11/1 to 12/31/2025).
- Maintain: Avoid withdrawals before each installment to remain eligible for future bonuses. Investment gains or losses will not impact eligibility.
- Get Your Bonus: Your bonus will be paid in 12 equal monthly installments. The first will be credited within 35 days after the promotion ends, with the rest paid monthly.
Our Verdict
This is from the best brokerage bonuses out there, and probably the best deal we’ve ever seen for a large investment transfer. We saw WeBull offer 2% with a 2-year hold in the past and we saw 4% with a 5-year hold; this time they are offering 2% with a low 13-15 month hold (final bonus payout should be by early February 2027).
I’m considering doing this deal myself, though I hesitate due to the cost basis issue. We’ll add this to our List of Best Brokerage Bonuses.
This 2% match bonus can make sense also as a cash deposit bonus since WeBull offers a nice 3.85% APY for their Premium members. Or you can buy/transfer SGOV and keep the funds there.
A few notes:
- WeBull apparently isn’t great with transferring over cost basis, so you might have to get manually involved for that to process correctly.
- WeBull will reimburse up to $100 in transfer fees.
- Some will prefer keeping balances under $500,000 since that’s the SIPC insurance amount. Others will be comfortable with WeBull’s supplementary insurance and deposit more.
- Be sure to enroll in the promo first. The public landing page is for new users, but many
(all?)existing users are getting emails/etc for this promo as well. The main thing is to ensure the system lets you enroll and then I’d assume you are good, regardless of your exact customer history. If you aren’t targeted, you can try reaching out to customer service and see if they can get the offer for you. - There is no portal or referral bonus for signing up.
