Question: I saw your post on the fact that Citi would be offering free FICO scores to some of their cardholders next year, it said that Citi branded credit cards would be getting the scores but other cards wouldn’t. Can you tell me which cards will be getting this and which won’t? Also what type of FICO score will this be?
Terry
Answer:Â All cards that aren’t co-branded will receive this benefit. A co-branded credit card is simply a credit card that Citi runs with another company. Citi’s biggest co-branded cards are with their partner American Airlines, these cards will not receive a free FICO score. The following cards will receive the free score:
- Citi DoubleCash
- Citi Dividend
- Citi Simplicity
- Citi ThankYou Preferred
- Citi ThankYou Premier
- Citi Prestige
- Citi Diamond Preferred
