Downloaded App for this and get the error “Failed to apply promotion.” I made sure my total was over $10. There is only 1 caviar restaurant here, so this one didn’t work out. (Doordash and Grubhub have seemingly unlimited restaurant options here.)

I had Caviar and I linked my Doordash to Caviar today (one login) and the promo code works for me for pickup and delivery.
I received an email directly for this. On the app all the orders I tried said “failed to apply promotion”. On the website it says “the promotion doesn’t apply to this store”. Chatted with support and it took a while but eventually they said I could place an order and they’d refund the $10 after. That happened and I received an “update to your order” email with the refund while online with the chat.
Edit: I had tried both pickup and delivery, DashPass and not, App and website. No combination worked. I was signed in with my DoorDash-linked account.
Same situation here, the promo code won’t apply, and I have received the email for this promo. My DoorDash and Caviar account have the same email and password, so I’m not sure if my first new app login is treated as DoorDash linked user or not…
Can this be done with a pick up order? Or does it have to be delivered?

Tried with other doordash account and did not work. Only account that received email works. YMMV for sure
