Our Verdict
Nice easy deal if targeted. Despite the terms seems to be working for existing customers as well as new.
Another DP to add to many already here: I also am an existing user who signed up for this promo, and it appeared to work but I never got paid. I’m not even going to waste my time arguing with this shameful piece of trash company. Any attorneys reading this? Start a class action lawsuit.
A small update. I was one of the people that tried out this offer way back when it was first posted in late July. Despite the website saying that the offer was applied to my account, it didn’t show up anywhere in the saved offer section of the site. Because of this, I did not get 10% back on my purchases. I had basically just given up on this offer and written off the thing as just another PayPal mistake.
It is now Sept. 1st of 2023. PayPal now shows that I have a saved offer for 10% back on spending with a limit of $30/3000 points. However, the offer is expired with an expiration date of Aug 31st. Fantastic work there PayPal. They only acknowledge that people had this offer saved in their accounts AFTER the entire thing is expired and not pay out any of the rewards.
That’s BS they should honor the deal for existing users who received the you are eligible screen.
Lol, this again? I’m one of the guys that did this offer the last time it was posted on this site around 3 weeks ago.
Here is the DP, I did not get any 10% back for my purchases and by now it is over 14 days since then. It is very certain that this is for new PayPal sign ups only. If you already have an existing PayPal account, then you will not qualify for the offer even though the site said that you are qualified. Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother with this.
I don’t trust any Deals from Paypal. They don’t honor them. I did their cashback shopping deals with Paypal Checkout a while back — rewards never posted and their customer service just gave me the run-around, asking the same questions over and over (since they handle CS by committee). They wanted historical screen shots proving they offered the deals (because apparently they don’t track this in their own system?).
Also ran donations through a nonprofit website, and when their interface was not allowing some users to donate, their IT CS gave me the same run-around and couldn’t figure out the problem. Their tech infrastructure is a complete joke.
Yup, never got mine deal as well. Sucks
They are desperate for users after a large block left last year when they tried to sneak updated terms and conditions that would allow them to steal $2500 from you if you made any social media posts or other internet content they didn’t agree with.
Regardless of your political beliefs, my advice is to NOT do business with this company.
“Sorry you’re not eligible for this promotion.” and I’m not even logged in to paypal. Probably from clicking on the last one that didn’t work.
Got the same thing and wondered about it, ended up logging into each of three PayPal accounts individually and clicking on the link. All three same result – squat.
Data point: I am an existing user. I signed up for this, got the splash screen saying I was good to go.
The deal didn’t work.
PayPal deals that I’m targeted for never work for me. I’ve learned that the 10-30 bucks isn’t worth the literal hours I end up on the phone, chat, and email. To paraphrase Jordan, eff you PayPal!
Worked for me and I’m an existing user. Just sign in first and then go to the offer and press sign up.
What I want to know is what’s does a grown man jumping into a pool on a giant inflatable seahorse have to do with this offer?
What do you mean worked for you? Did you actually receive the cash back on a purchase?
Already posted here and it doesn’t work:

That is correct. Only for new users.
