Our Verdict

Nice to see more gift card deals on eBay; there’s also $100 eBay gift card for $95.

This Exxon deal is an easy moneymaker since you pay $270 for $300 in Exxon gift cards and you can sell them for $276-$279.

You’ll profit:

$6-$9
$4.05 in portal points from Topcashback or Befrugal
$5.40 in eBay Bucks
270 credit card points, or $5.40 on a 2% credit card. (Hopefully 1350 points if you use INK.)
or you can use up ebay gift cards instead
Total: $20.85 – $23.85 in profit, or possibly more with INK

So the question is which purchases/and from which sellers count towards 5% INK cash back? Obviously, svmgiftcard seller is not qualified for that cash back. 🙁

so i bought sears and ebay gift cards on April 13th from giftcardmall and this did not post as 5x – now i’m really confused as transactions from giftcardmall used to post as 5x – those transactions posted as “PAYPAL EBAY MARKTPLC USD” although previous transaction from giftcardmall posted as “PP *GIFTCARDMAL”

can anyone see if they have experienced same behavior?

So… why would a person sell these to make less than $10 per card when you could effectively purchase gas at an Exxon station @ a 10% discount?

What am I missing?

I have a question regarding a limit for purchasing giftcards (like this deal) on ebay. I see that limit is 3/account. I wonder when this limit resets? I see that this seller sells this GCs again, but since I purchased them last week it doesn’t let me to check out.
