The Fine Print
- Business gift cards only – personal cards will earn just 1.5%
- You can pay with a personal credit card; no need to pay with a business card
- Max order of Amex business gift cards is $100,000 per 14 days -if you’re asked for a TaxID Number (on large orders they sometimes do that), you can use your SSN instead
- Don’t purchase denominations of more than $2,000 as that negates cashback
- Don’t use a promo code as that negates cashback

Our Verdict
We like posting about these 2.25% Amex gift card offers since they’re the best you can get these days. Typically, it’s just 1.5% and it often goes up to 2%.
These 2.25% offers are especially interesting in light of the new promotional Plastiq rate which allows us to make payments for things like mortgages and car loans with just a 1.99% payment processing fee.
