[Expired] Befrugal Now Offering 10% at Walmart and 4% at eBay

The Befrugal shopping portal has temporarily increased their cashback rates for eBay and Walmart.

10.2% Walmart

•  (Link) Get 10.2% cashback on most Walmart purchases. Not valid on gift cards, and a few other exclusions.

There is a disclaimer that resellers may not always get cashback: “Cash back not valid on bulk or reseller purchases. Determination of bulk/reseller status is made at the sole discretion of the Walmart company and is not reviewable by BeFrugal.com.” I expect this to be the case for all shopping portals with Walmart.

Topcashback is offering slightly less than Befrugal at 9.49% for Walmart. (Link)

4% eBay

• Get 4% cashback on eBay purchases. eBay gift cards are excluded in the terms, but other gift cards will work. (Link)

Note: Befrugal has in the terms that they can not follow up on any missing cashback claims with eBay. Also, they say that if you pay with an eBay gift card there is no cashback (I doubt this part is true in practice). See also Best Shopping Portal for eBay Purchases.

4% on eBay is excellent! Most that’s come up in the past was 5% with Inbox Dollars and 5% for gift cards with Ebates, but it’s not common.

Final Thoughts

 

There are lots of increased cashback offers for the holiday shopping season. I started checking out the Cashbackmonitor home page more often; they display the best cashback rates for the top 50 retailers.

We don’t know how long these offers will stick around – let’s hope it’s for a good few days!
