[Expired] Citi American Airlines 60,000 Miles Business Offer (Possible Match to 75,000 Mile Offer)

Bonus has expired and is no longer valid. View the best current credit card bonuses here.

Reposting due to new 60,000 mile offer being found (thanks to reader Saturn via ninim2200 on Flyertalk). This offer is particularly appealing at the moment due to the fact that lots of people are being successfully matched to 75,000 points.

The Offer

Card Details

  • Annual fee of $95 is waived the first year
  • Contains one American Airlines business bonus per 24 month language

Our Verdict

This offer contains the following language:

  • This card is not available if the business already has a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select®World Mastercard® card. Bonus miles are not available if you have had any CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® card opened or closed in the past 24 months.

We discuss this rule more here. This means you can get this bonus and the 60,000 mile offer on the personal card. It has been possible to get this bonus for some time, but it required asking to be matched and I know a lot of readers prefer this much easier route (and who wouldn’t?) Downside to American Airlines is trying to find saver space. I’d still sign up for this bonus if I was eligible as it’s as good as it gets and it starts your 24 month clock as well. Before applying read these things you should know about Citibank.

I was outright denied for the Citi Biz AA card. In 12 years I’ve never been denied a business or personal card. Not finding a lot regarding recon on business cards for Citi. Any tips?

I tried recon with them a few months back and was told they don’t reconsider business card applications.

Link also appears to be dead to me.

Is the Business 60k offer dead? Multiple browsers and devices just redirect me to the error page today but yesterday took me to a live application.

Is it possible to move credit line from personal to business cards with Citi? Just got approved for business AA card but only $3k credit line whereas I have $15k limit on personal AA card.

Is it true that you need to have your oldest account on personal credit report to be at least 60 months to be considered for this card?
