Hi, I was wondering if the MB Plat card’s sign-up bonus was still separate from the regular Amex Platinum’s.
I know that the terms and conditions state that you can only get 1 of the 2, but I was wondering if that was actually enforced.

despite what was previously written on this blog and on some flyertalk threads, this is still a separate product. i think people posted some false info on FT just to discourage others.
but from the recent FT posts – and personal experience: if you have never had MB card, you can apply and you’ll get 50k bonus after minimum spend regardless of what other personal platinum cards you’ve had in the past.
i had had regular personal platinum card twice and MS platinum card once in the last few years.. applied for MB card this January, already got 50 k bonus 😉
