My checkout with code + ebay GC for the entire amount seemed to go through fine – just noticed today that the total purchase amount was deducted from my bank account (which is linked to PayPal)! Didn’t get the $15 off, nor did I get to use the GCs. This is totally bogus. Guess it’s time to fight with support.
It’s mind-boggling how bad the eBay/PayPal checkout system is. This is the 3rd time in recent memory that I’ve tried to take advantage of a flash sale towards the end of the limited time period and find that my purchase is declined afterwards for no apparent reason, which they don’t notify me about until after the discount code expires… My fault for not making my purchase earlier but still, their unreliability and and totally random glitchiness that so many of you have already mentioned today is absolutely ridiculous!

Just purchased two gift cards for restaurants I enjoy for take out. Each GC had a bonus on top of the gift card value. Final purchase: $60 by paypal for $90 of gift cards (including bonuses on each of $10 + $5), I’ll be waiting for coupons like “buy one get one free” in the mail before using these gift cards to stretch the value even more!
Buying a gas gift card, trying to pay through paypal, not with gift card, discount code doesn’t work

Success when ordering non GC item that I have been wanting, BUT no matter what seller I chose, Ebay applied sales tax. Still happy with the deal after coupon applied (took second effort) … I missed any chance to use CC … went straight to bank payment.
Saved $8.25 over Amazon same item. Both free shipping.

able to get $50ebay gc plus $25 other GC. took two tries since the first gc vendor went our of stock by the time i put the codes in, but found another one and code worked fine.
Working now with Paypal. Got past the technical error.
First order failed said unable to processed payment of eBay gift card and coupon. Second time able to order by eBay gift card and coupon but eBay change my payment to default PayPal payment(bank) and remove coupon AFTER order. This happened once in past when I use eBay Gift card and coupon. Check your PayPal
I was able to use a Ebay gift card to pay for part of the purchase
