- Visa, MasterCard to Roll Out New Cybersecurity Features by WSJ. Now if only the payment networks & card issuers hadn’t dragged their feet on adopting EMV technology for years maybe we wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place.
- Evolve Money Update: 3% Fee for Prepaid Debit Cards and Gift Cards Beginning February 24 by Travel With Grant. Today is basically your last day to use it fee free, I’m interested to see which debit cards charge fees and which don’t. Fingers crossed some of the rewards debit cards do not charge any fees.
- Targeted Club Carlson Visa Promo: 6 points per dollar in March and April by Out and Out. Kind of a confusing bonus and wouldn’t really encourage me to put spend on this card unless I was already doing so, but expect more and more targeted ongoing spend bonuses like this.
- Tip: You Should Use This Site When Searching for Car Rentals! by Miles to Memories. If you use sites like this, please consider using their affiliate links at least some of the time instead of always using a portal. It encourages the site owners to improve their offering and also rewards them for the hard work they have already done.
- Update On My 100,000 Membership Rewards Challenge by Frugal Hack Me. That Aer Lingus route is one of my faves, I’m a cheapass so I’ve only ever done it in economy but I’m sure business is nice as well.
- Rocketmiles American Airlines & US Airways 5,000 Bonus Miles First Booking By April 15, 2015 by Loyalty Lobby. 5,000 seems to be the new bonus Rocketmiles is offering, check out our Rocketmiles review to keep up to date with what bonuses they offer.
- 3,000 Avios for any Rocketmiles hotel booking by Head For The Points. I’d wait for a 5,000 point bonus to be honest.
- Target Launches RedPerks Reward Program: Now in Select Markets by The Deal Mommy. 5% coupon after every $500 spend plus other benefits and coupons. Seems interesting but will depend on what counts as a points earning purchase.
