Our Verdict
This offer seems to come out once a month and the promo code gets updated accordingly (just change the month in the promo code). It’s a targeted offer and will only work for some accounts. I don’t have success with these, but it’s easy enough to click the link and see if you’re targeted which is why we post these offers and many are having success with this one.
There’s also another offer going on currently to get a $5 credit with a $25 gift card purchase for Amazon student accounts.
Stack the Deal:
- Pay with you Discover card or Freedom card for 5% back as per the Q4 category. Many of us will even get the 5% from Discover doubled at year’s end.
- Go through the Giving Assistant shopping portal and hopefully get 5% cashback on the purchase as well. Gift cards aren’t guaranteed to earn portal cashback, but hopefully it will work anyway (worked for me).
