Our Verdict
They’ve run a similar promotion before and people have recently started receiving their gift cards and also ran a similar promotion on their wedding registries. This takes like two minutes to set up and they don’t seem to actually check if your a student or not, so why not.
If you’re thinking about doing this, I’d strongly urge doing it sooner rather than later because this deal will not last.
Also received my giftcard.
Datapoint: Received my $20 gift card today (6/5) in the mail.
I filled out the registry, but did not receive any confirmation for the $20. Is this normal, or are people receiving a confirmation?
They never send out confirmation e-mails, I assume Target wants as many people to sign up in excess of the 50k limit which is why they don’t do it.
don’t waste your time on this
hardly anyone got it when they did this last time.
Well, they’ve only recently started sending the ones out from the last offer and it was limited to only 10k. They definitely have sent some out, so it’s not a waste of time at all especially considering it takes about two minutes.
