Get Matched for United Mileage Plus 75,000 Offer + No Annual Fee 1st Year

There is a better offer for 75k miles + $50 statement credit, you might want to try and get matched to that instead. Let us know in the comments below.

A friend recently signed up for the United Mileage Plus 55k offer with no annual fee in the first year, and they now got targeted for the new 70,000 offer bonus + 5,000 with AU card which is showing for many. He sent Chase a Secure Message along with a screenshot of the offer and easily got the 20,000 bonus match.

What’s especially interesting here is that the 55k offer didn’t have an annual fee, and you’ll end up with 75k and no annual fee.

And a report on Reddit indicates that even if you got a statement credit with your signup offer (e.g. 55k + $50), they’ll match the 55k to 75 and let you keep the $50 and won’t charge you an annual fee either. YMMV

Chase typically matches better offers within 90-days so if you signed up recently, you should be able to message them with a screenshot and get it done. No one has luck past 90 days.

Note that you might have to spend more, e.g. if the offer you applied for needed $2k in spend, they’ll tell you that you’ll get the match after spending the $3k for this current offer.

Technically, this means that even if you ARE targeted for the 70k offer, you’d be better off going for the ordinary 35k offer with no annual fee and then getting a match. There is some risk in this approach, of course.
